Please follow the following steps to set up a new phone as your primary authentication device.

(After the IT department resets the authentication method.)

1. Please log in to your school's Microsoft account through a browser or click on the link below.

2. After you log in, click on Security Info.

3. Click on Add sign-in Method and select Authenticator app.


4. Then click on Next.

5. After you click on Next, download the Microsoft Authenticator app on your device, or if it is already downloaded, click on the + sign in the top right-hand corner


6. After you click the + sign, click on work or school account.


7. Then click on the scan QR Code.




8. Then scan the QR displayed on the browser


9. Click next, and the 2-digit number will appear on your browser screen. Enter that 2-digit number in your authenticator app on your phone.

This will set up your new phone as your primary authentication device.
