Using MyCW's Student Password Reset page, teachers have the ability to reset the password of any one of their students.
If students already know their password and want to update it, they can do so by navigating to mycw.org/password or by signing into mycw.org and selecting the Change Password link in the top left corner of the page.

Step 1: Navigate to the Student password reset page using one of these two options:
- Sign into mycw.org and click on the Student Password Reset option in the Links section
- Go to mycw.org/student_password
Step 2: Select the student
- Click on the Reset Password link located next to the name of the student whose password you want to reset
Step 3: Input a new password
- Fill in the New Password and Confirm New Password fields
When inputting a new password, refer to the password criteria on the page. Passwords that do not meet the criteria will not be accepted.
Step 4: Multi-Factor Authentication
- You will be required to use Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) to verify your identity by clicking on the MFA Verification button
- Complete MFA using your configured method in the new tab/window that appears
For security, MFA will be required every few minutes for student password resets.
Step 5: Save the new password
- Once MFA Verification is complete, you will be able to click on the Update Password button to complete the password reset
- You will see a message that tells you whether the password was successfully updated or not
- Students will be required to change their password the next time they sign in
